Working closely with the Implementation and development teams — the primary users of the company's product— I was exposed to challenges that users faced, impacting workflow efficiency and project delivery to clients. With my team, we identified specific areas within the product where improvements could address those challenges users face.

Users construct web applications for EasySend's customers in the builder area. The improved or added features include: locating and fixing bugs that can be resolved without the assistance of programmers, making common actions accessible, and reducing the burden of transitioning between different workspaces

Users building web applications for finance institutions faced challenges in bug detection, often relying on developers for resolutions that could be handled independently. Additionally, transitioning between workspaces for constructing different layers of the web application lacked flexibility, and the existing toolbars hindered quick access to common actions.
Smoother development, improve user autonomy and reduce dependence on developers for bug resolution.
I seized the opportunity of having the product users present in the office and conducted guerrilla research. After gathering insights, I delved into a specific study conducted by NNG on complex systems. My goal was to identify solutions that addressed the pain points uncovered during the guerrilla research.

My primary goal during this phase was to understand user behavior and discover the most common tasks, commonly referred to as key tasks, within the user journey.

I collaborated with the company's marketing team to obtain the information they had already gathered about the product's competitors, including their insights into the advantages and disadvantages of these competitors.

Over time, I communicated the research insights during team meetings and in one-on-one sessions with the product manager. The discussions about implementing features extended over several weeks, ultimately leading to the consensus of the majority of the team on the final direction.
The first job to be done was to improve the bug alerts area by incorporating a function to locate the bugs, eliminating the need for developers to manually inspect the logs.

Users frequently navigate between different areas of the platform to perform relevant actions or obtain information to proceed with their tasks. Therefore, we relocated all dashboard options to a sidebar menu to facilitate smoother transitions.
A few weeks after launching the new version, I conducted interviews with relevant internal stakeholders to gather feedback. The work experience of the implementers has improved, and Project Managers have reported noticing more accurate time estimations from the implementers.
The collaboration between different teams, including development, implementation, and marketing, played a crucial role in the success of the project. Open communication and collaboration fostered a holistic understanding of the challenges and led to well-informed decision-making.
